Nicolas Holiber (B.1985, New York) is a Brooklyn-based artist whose work focuses on exploration and discovery through materiality and process. He has exhibited throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia. He earned an MFA from the New York Academy of Art where he was awarded a Postgraduate Fellowship. Other notable awards and honors include the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council’s Process Space Residency on Governors Island, ArtInPlace Public Sculpture Award in Virginia, and Residency at the Leipzig International Art Programme in Germany. Past commissions have been completed for NYC Parks / Broadway Mall Association and the Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum (Taiwan). Recent press includes french fries magazine, Juxtapoz, Creative Boom.
