Yu Nagaba, 46, is a Japanese illustrator and contemporary artist who is best known for his one of a kind line drawings and illustrations. During his career, he has spanned a wide range of fields, working on magazines, books, advertisements, and taking part in collaborations with apparel brands. Earlier this year, Nagaba became involved in a collaboration between UNIQLO and The Louvre, re-interpreting classic art pieces such as Da Vinci’s “Mona Lisa,” onto merchandise, garments and home goods.

Nagaba’s work has featured internationally, such as at Elsa Gallery in Taipei, GALLERY TARGET in Shanghai, Nepenthes in New York, as well as being recognised within Japan at GALLERY X BY PARCO and MIDORI.so2 Gallery in Tokyo.
