I draw inspiration from a constantly shifting mix of influences; fashion, music, memories, the changing seasons and the places I move through. These encounters create a visual energy that finds its way into my work. I am particularly fascinated by the relationship between the urban and natural environments, and the way light transforms the atmosphere of a place. I am drawn to the shadows cast across buildings, streets, trees and open spaces; to those fleeting black silhouettes that stretch, distort and disappear as the light changes.

Shadow has a particular presence in my work.
