Kang Jun-Seok is an established mid-career artist born in the Republic of Korea. In 2014, Jun-Seok moved to Jeju Island, the beautiful southern Island in Korea. This is where his fascination for ‘nature’ had come from. He had then begun to incorporate these themes into his works. Apart from his previous surroundings this new environment allowed him to create an emotionally restructured land which held a lot of prominence over his future artworks. He describes the Island and one of his most significant sources of influence. Jun-Seok's calm and subtle brushstrokes enable him to create a unique surface structure for his artwork.
