Antonio J. Ainscough is a Chicago-based pop surrealist painter utilizing ideologies of mood, identity, and self-discovery through cartoon-influenced imagery. His work captures experiences of hyperbolized autobiographical scenarios in a way that is both playful and profound. Antonio creates in an inimitable style of controlled chaos that embraces and subverts traditions including pop art, impressionism, expressionism, and surrealism. Ainscough's artistic journey commenced in his toddler years with sketching, influenced by sources ranging from Wacky Packages stickers to the Garbage Pail Kids trading card series and early 2000s cartoons. Originally aspiring to a career in animation, Antonio shifted his focus to painting while studying at Eastern Illinois University under the tutelage of mentor Chris Kahler. In 2020, he earned his Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree in painting from Eastern Illinois University. Ainscough's artistic prowess has since been showcased in numerous group and solo exhibitions across the United States and internationally.

Popcorn and cascade bidding:
If a bid is placed during the last 2 minutes of the auction, the closing time will be automatically extended for an additional 2 minutes from the time the last bid was placed. The item will close once all bidding activity has stopped. This is recommended for high-value and popular items. Popcorn bidding prevents bidders from waiting until the last minute to bid without giving the bidders who were outbid an opportunity to rebid.
Cascade bidding ensures auction lots close at staggering times, one after another. For example, the first lot of an auction might close at 12:01pm, the second lot would close at 12:02pm, then the third lot at 12:03pm, etc.
