Zhu Chen Wei was born in 2000 in Tainan (Taiwan). He is studying Fine Arts at National Kaohsiung Normal University.

The new series of his 2022 creations are mainly presented in acrylic, by using a technique of large-area flat coating and applying it by small volume within multiple layers, he retains the textures of the canvas itself. In his previous creations the lines applied are used as “a destruction of original structure”. In this new series he has added the dislocated lines that run off the composition, to “motivate the colour” - with combining colours, brushstrokes and stacking up lines, the visual effect simulates the atmosphere from Pop Art in the 1960s.
