b. 1981

Born in East Germany in 1981, Super Future Kid spent her formative years in the wake of the Berlin Wall's fall, initially oblivious to the western world.
The profound cultural impact of this event left an indelible mark, shaping her affinity for vibrant colors and a playful aesthetic.

Super Future Kid's work is celebrated for its immersive quality. Her art serves as an avatar for self-exploration and a reflection on the human condition. Through her expressive and playful landscapes, Super Future Kid invites viewers into a world where reality and fantasy intermingle, and the human figure becomes a canvas for identity and existential musings.

After her formal training at the KHB – Weißensee Academy of Art Berlin, where she graduated in 2008, Super Future Kid moved to London and now Brooklyn, New York, to continue her artistic endeavors. Her work has been exhibited internationally in cities such as Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Hong Kong, Bangkok, and Tokyo.

POPCORN AND CASCADE BIDDING

If a bid is placed during the last 2 minutes of the auction, the closing time will be automatically extended for an additional 2 minutes from the time the last bid was placed. The item will close once all bidding activity has stopped. This is recommended for high-value and popular items. Popcorn bidding prevents bidders from waiting until the last minute to bid without giving the bidders who were outbid an opportunity to rebid.

Cascade bidding ensures auction lots close at staggering times, one after another. For example, the first lot of an auction might close at 12:01pm, the second lot would close at 12:02pm, then the third lot at 12:03pm, etc.
