Astrid Stoeppel is a professional contemporary artist born and based in Germany. Stoeppel plays with colourful permutations and repetition, eliciting emotion through movement or palette. Her art is comprised mainly of common geometric shapes in reference to themselves and those around them. They come together to form seemingly intelligent abstracted relationships. It is almost as if Stoeppel is just as much a composer as she is an artist, musically weaving together visual motifs like colour coded sheet music.
