Kpe Innocent is a self-taught visual artist who strives to create works that focus on representing the commonality the entire human race share regardless of geographic or sociological limitations.Transforming his faith into art, he incorporates themes surrounding love, grace and hope, speaking to conditions that affect us as humans, because at the end of the day, we all have similar fears and we all hope for better things. His quirky acrylic on canvas paintings show bulbous humanoid figures, whose proportions are exaggerated and dominate their surroundings. Like the background, the figures are painted in blocks of colour in neutral earthy tones and clean minimalist lines. His work combines contemporary aesthetics like streetwear and modernist architecture with Christian theology. These figures are mostly found in isolation, representing our natural state of individuality. Innocent’s work also speaks to a reflection on the metaphysical; a way of reminding people that there is more to life than meets the eye. That there can be good in the world regardless of the evil that is predominant, and this he is determined to preach through his practice.

Popcorn and cascade bidding:
If a bid is placed during the last 2 minutes of the auction, the closing time will be automatically extended for an additional 2 minutes from the time the last bid was placed. The item will close once all bidding activity has stopped. This is recommended for high-value and popular items. Popcorn bidding prevents bidders from waiting until the last minute to bid without giving the bidders who were outbid an opportunity to rebid.
Cascade bidding ensures auction lots close at staggering times, one after another. For example, the first lot of an auction might close at 12:01pm, the second lot would close at 12:02pm, then the third lot at 12:03pm, etc.
