Bio: Silvia Idili, born in Cagliari in 1982, currently resides and practices her art in Milan. Her paintings are a captivating exploration of geometric forms and compositional harmonies drawn from the past. Through her work, she endeavors to infuse greater intensity and authenticity into expressions of the spiritual.

Silvia's art delves into the emotional and psychological turmoil that often plagues contemporary individuals, exacerbated by the complexities of an unfathomable reality. This struggle persists even in the face of the transcendent.

Her portfolio boasts a rich history of solo and group exhibitions, both in Italy and abroad. Notable venues in Italy include art galleries and public spaces such as the Museum of Contemporary Art in Lissone and Collicola Palace in Spoleto. Some of her pieces have earned a place in esteemed public and private art collections, including the Videoinsight Foundation.

Silvia Idili's artistic production prominently features the series titled "Visionari," which often centers on female portraits. These figures, adorned with origami geometries that conceal their faces, serve as symbols of the mental constructs individuals create to hide and obscure their true natures. The "Visionaries" serve as a catalyst for introspection and inner exploration.

Her works have been recognized and featured in prestigious publications, including renowned magazines and artbooks, further cementing her place in the contemporary art world.

Popcorn bidding: If a bid is placed during the last two minutes of the auction, the closing time will be automatically extended for an additional three minutes from the time the last bid was placed. The item will close once all bidding activity has stopped. This is recommended for high-value and popular items. Popcorn bidding prevents bidders from waiting until the last minute to bid without giving the bidders who were outbid an opportunity to rebid.
