Bio
Yutaro Inagaki is a London-based contemporary artist and figurative painter from Japan. In his teenage years, he developed an interest in exploring urban spaces and engaging in acts of vandalism, immersing himself in graffiti in Tokyo. In 2022, he decided to pursue a career as a painter and relocated to the UK. Currently, he focuses on a series of paintings featuring young people and creatures clad in black, set within urban environments. In 2023, Inagaki obtained a Global Talent Visa from Arts Council England. His cross-border activities include participating in a two-person booth at the New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) art fair in New York and the group exhibition XTR at Con_ Tokyo Gallery.

Popcorn and cascade bidding:
If a bid is placed during the last 2 minutes of the auction, the closing time will be automatically extended for an additional 2 minutes from the time the last bid was placed. The item will close once all bidding activity has stopped. This is recommended for high-value and popular items. Popcorn bidding prevents bidders from waiting until the last minute to bid without giving the bidders who were outbid an opportunity to rebid.
Cascade bidding ensures auction lots close at staggering times, one after another. For example, the first lot of an auction might close at 12:01pm, the second lot would close at 12:02pm, then the third lot at 12:03pm, etc.
