These terms apply when you use 4bysix.com or buy a work from us. By placing an order or a bid, you agree to them.

Who we are

4bysix.com is run by 4BYSIX CIC, a community interest company registered in England and Wales, company number 08050661. Our registered office is 1 Kings Avenue, London, N21 3NA, United Kingdom. You can reach us at enquire@4bysix.com.

The works

Every work is an original, made by the artist named on its page. We describe and photograph each one as accurately as we can. Colours can look slightly different on screen, and surfaces salvaged from vehicles carry marks from their first life. Those marks are part of the work.

Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling. We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is added. Delivery is charged separately and shown at checkout. Your contract with us starts when we confirm your order by email.

Making an offer

You can make an offer on works marked as available. An offer is not a sale until we accept it in writing and you have paid.

Auction terms and conditions

• The auction opens and closes at the times shown on the auction page. The highest bid when the auction closes wins.
• A bid is a commitment to buy at that price if you win. Please only bid if you are able to pay. Bidding without completing payment may lead to suspension from future 4BYSIX CIC auctions and events.
• There is no buyer's premium. The winning bid is the price of the work, plus delivery.
• We email the winner when the auction closes. Payment must be made within 48 hours of the auction closing. If it is not received, we may offer the work to the next highest bidder.
• Auction purchases are final and non-cancellable once the auction has closed. See our Returns and refunds page.

Where the money goes

70% of every sale funds our community projects and 30% goes to the artist. This does not change the price you pay.

See our Delivery policy and our Returns and refunds page. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.

Copyright

Buying a work gives you ownership of the physical piece. Copyright stays with the artist. You may not reproduce the work for commercial use without the artist's permission. Images and text on this site belong to 4BYSIX or the artists.

Our liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on the site when you place your order or bid is the one that applies.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
