Patcharapon Tangruen, widely known as Alex Face, is one of Thailand’s most prominent street artists, known for his thought-provoking murals and distinctive character work. A graduate of King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang with a degree in Fine and Applied Arts, Alex began his journey exploring the streets of Bangkok, transforming abandoned buildings into canvases for reflection, resistance, and empathy. His signature character, a world-weary child wearing animal costumes, was inspired by the birth of his daughter and represents both innocence and unease about the future. With its third eye and solemn gaze, the figure channels Thai spiritual beliefs and social awareness.
