Roxy Peroxyde is a self taught painter based out of Montreal Canada, painting the invisible connections between her dreams and what digitally comes to her amidst a scroll of the internet. After the inception of these ideas, she finds and shoots models; painting digital alterations of these photo shoots.

Her art is a testament to time, referring to the past in its similarity to the present, melding modern and ancient iconography into her portraiture. A painting, to Roxy, does not have to be set in its idolised rigidity, and could instead bring levity to a culture of austerity.
