Daniel Nuñez (b. 1988, Madrid) is a Spanish contemporary artist. Through his energetic brushstroke, unashamed of its simple and childlike style, Daniel Nuñez presents various works in which his most characteristic elements are shown: everyday objects that are surrounded by a fauna of different natures, which he uses to externalize his day to day life experiences. Works that at first glance seem to encompass superficial subjects, are on closer inspection full of cultural codes that escape rational comprehension, more closely linked with the impulses generated in the subconscious and materialized through instinctive brushstrokes and color. An autobiographical work with great magnetism with which we can easily identify with. Daniel Núñez (Madrid, 1988) is a divergent visual artist who combines design and plastic arts. He was trained as a designer and illustrator at the ESDIP and CES Schools in Madrid, and was instructed in plastic and visual arts under the tutelage of artists such as Antonio Lancho, Jorge Pedraza, Marta Maldonado and Isabel Álvarez. His artistic development has been influenced by various styles including marginal art/Art Brut and abstract neo-expressionism, within the context of urban art. His works utilize both canvases and walls and feature the inclusion of photography. This experimentation of media is the result of constant learning and an almost obsessive need to create. His personal objective is the development of his own language, the aim of which is to reflect on the traditional discourse of painting while also creating a new narrative. In his work, he uses a variety of symbols surrounding his images to represent his own reality under a particular and intuitive perspective, elicited from dreamlike and spontaneous processes that are supported by his daily evolution. His interest in discovering new objects and materials affects the subjective meaning that gives him the context reflected in the integrity of his work. For Nuñez, minimalist language is the force that establishes new ideas for the representation of the intangible in the material.

POPCORN AND CASCADE BIDDING
If a bid is placed during the last 2 minutes of the auction, the closing time will be automatically extended for an additional 2 minutes from the time the last bid was placed. The item will close once all bidding activity has stopped. This is recommended for high-value and popular items. Popcorn bidding prevents bidders from waiting until the last minute to bid without giving the bidders who were outbid an opportunity to rebid.
Cascade bidding ensures auction lots close at staggering times, one after another. For example, the first lot of an auction might close at 12:01pm, the second lot would close at 12:02pm, then the third lot at 12:03pm, etc.
