Freddie Peacock, a 20-year-old artist and designer based in London, stands as the latest prodigy of the innovative creative agency 'Collab Dept.' This breakthrough talent celebrates his prowess as a contemporary artist and designer. While initially focusing predominantly on portraiture, Peacock has broadened his creative horizons to encompass landscapes and timeless statement pieces. His intention is to demonstrate to his audience that his talents extend beyond a singular field. Garnering attention on a global scale, Peacock's remarkable career has earned recognition from various media outlets. An especially noteworthy acknowledgment came from Instagram, where he was chosen as one of the top creators under the age of 21 on their platform.
Even amidst the ambitious projects lined up for Peacock in 2023, he is concurrently pursuing a degree in jewelry design at Central Saint Martins. In 2022, Peacock collaborated with the London-based non-profit organization '4BYSIX' to craft the painting "Who is Virgil?" This artwork found its place in a group exhibition located on Bond Street. The piece paid tribute to the late design luminary, Virgil Abloh, and offered an in-depth exploration of his extraordinary life and career. To great success, the painting surpassed expectations, outbidding esteemed artists in the field. Notably, during this exhibition, Peacock designed 10 limited edition 'work tracksuits' worn throughout various stages of the painting's creation, capturing its colors and essence. These tracksuits were then made available for purchase through his website, with the proceeds donated to Virgil Abloh's post-modern scholarship fund. The extent of Peacock's involvement in this project led to an invitation for him to share his experience on BBC News London.
Peacock's portfolio boasts collaborations with celebrated artists, celebrities, and brands on an international scale, both within London and abroad. Noteworthy names include JME, Central Cee, Yxng Bane, and Unknown T. His exceptional creations have garnered attention from esteemed press outlets such as Culted, GUAP, Dazed, and more. He was also recently flown to Naples, invited to design a t-shirt for the 10-year anniversary of the Italian magazine 'NSS'. - Words by COLLAB DEPT

Popcorn bidding: If a bid is placed during the last two minutes of the auction, the closing time will be automatically extended for an additional three minutes from the time the last bid was placed. The item will close once all bidding activity has stopped. This is recommended for high-value and popular items. Popcorn bidding prevents bidders from waiting until the last minute to bid without giving the bidders who were outbid an opportunity to rebid.
