Gluk (b. 1995) is a Caribbean artist born in Caracas, Venezuela, and based in Mexico City, working across oil painting, tattooing, and new media. In oil, he paints what the canon tends to relegate, elevating Caribbean iconography without folklorizing it. Through technology, he turns data and urban signals into reactive experiences that question identity, memory, and power. He studied at NYU Shanghai, exhibiting at the Yicangart Museum at twenty, then spent eight years in Berlin, producing Onde du Midi at the Louvre (2020) and collaborating with Rawayana, Nicola Cruz, and Salomón. For Gluk, art is a tool for both confrontation and care. His work is precise yet streetwise: elegant, but never domesticated.
