Manu García (b. 1994, Oviedo) creates paintings and installations that reflect on identity, emotional memory and the aesthetics of contemporary visual culture. A graduate of the University of Salamanca, he blends traditional painting techniques with digital aesthetics, using spray paint, stencils and gestural abstraction to build layered compositions that echo the language of the street and the screen.

His practice works as an open diary: a space of contradiction, play, melancholy and humour. Often operating at the threshold between intimacy and spectacle, his paintings are rooted in a desire to understand how we inhabit the world through image, gesture and affect.
