Name: Mary

"Mary is a Manchester-based artist whose work draws inspiration from landscape, nature and the built environment. Working across painting, drawing, mixed media and ceramics, she develops visual responses to places, memories and observations collected through sketchbooks and direct experiences. The artworks in this exhibition represent a selection of recent work inspired by woodland walks, natural forms, city streets and everyday observations. Both works reflect Mary’s ongoing practice tests the expressive potential of different materials through a specific interest in colour and texture."
