Peaceful Research (est.2025) is a collaborative practice exploring the intersection of motorsport heritage, industrial design, and contemporary culture. Co-founded by Varker and Ryan Bale, it unites Varker's design work for global names such as Nike, New Balance and Lando Norris with Ryan's experience building and collecting classic cars and designing spatial environments for the likes of adidas, Puma and The Basement.

Together they treat automotive history as both medium and muse. Each piece is researched and meticulously crafted, often using reclaimed or obsolete components, with the intention not of nostalgia but reinterpretation: transforming engineering remnants into contemporary art and goods. The studio is based in Ancoats, Manchester.
