Nathan Preston (British, b.1992), working under the pseudonym Preston paperboy collages culture with a "neo-expressionist" painting style. His portraiture often eludes traditional structure; with the eye of a street-artist he compiles facial snippets from raw lines, text, and abstraction.

Like a blotchy Polaroid that ceased processing part way through, Preston's paintings include clear depictions of the body, with the rest filled in by metaphorical references to narrative and personality. Born and raised in Essex, he has gone on to exhibit in Atlanta, Miami, Hong Kong, and London. Through his emotional painting and sculpture, Preston depicts a haunting search for understanding.
